Do we lose our Indian Status?

There will be no loss of Indian Status under our Modern Treaty.

Under the Treaty, will I lose my healthcare? Dental care? Childcare?

Existing programs and services (e.g. health, education, etc.) will continue. In some cases, our Nation may become more involved in running these programs to provide improvements in access and benefits.

Can I unenrol?

Yes, you can apply to the Enrolment Committee to have your name removed from the enrolment register.
